Hey, my name is Elayna Male
Born and raised in Cedar Springs, Michigan. I am a recent graduate from Northern Michigan University with a major in Art & Design: Bachelor of Science (Concentration: Photography). With 6+ years of photography experience, I fell in love with the milestone moments, and photographing portraits has been my favorite thing to capture. With the business launched, I’ve been featured in a number of peoples’ social media accounts doing portraiture (sports, family/friends, pets, etc.) since 2020. I am now currently located in Rockford, MI.
Get to know your Photographer
I am 25 years old and I'm originally from Cedar Springs, Michigan. I have been involved in cheerleading for 18 years—14 years with the Cedar Springs Cheer Program and four years as a collegiate cheerleader at Northern Michigan University. I am hard of hearing and underwent approximately 17 surgeries between the ages of 3 and 12 to help repair my ears. I come from a family of four children, all of whom have participated in athletics, and I’ve been in a long-term relationship with my partner of seven years.
I started photographing back in 2013 when both of my sisters were in competitive gymnastics. It has turned into an occasional hobby until 2020 when I decided to study Photography & Business at Northern Michigan. My first official client was my little sister Olivia when she was a senior in '20-'21. After that, I have built this website in 2023 and have continued to build my business from there.
